Samsung’s Transparent Laptop Unveiled

electronic giant, samsung, revealed the prototype for its’ 14 inch transparent oled laptop at the 2010 consumer electronics show (ces). the screen casing is made out of plastic and when the device is off, the panel is up to 40% transparent – as opposed to the industry average of below 25%. details are pretty scarce at this time, but you can see the world’s first and largest transparent laptop on youtube.

      yah – i think i’m gonna have to agree with you – it may get annoying sometimes – unless there’s some kind of option (extra cover?) that allows you to switch to non-transparent mode – whenever you want. but all in all – the idea is pretty cool!
