SuperPost Sunday – Weekly Roundup #27

Funny Easter SuperPost Sunday Weekly Roundup #27

Splaaaat!

Hello My Lovelies,

First and foremost – Happy Easter to you and your families. For those of you that celebrate, I hope it’s a blessed one.

I just came back from our family lunch, and stuffed is pretty much how I feel! Heck, I couldn’t even get off the couch for the egg hunt – which is just as good, cause I figured it’d be nice for the kids to win this year – you know, the one’s that are 3 and not 30 LOL!

I realize that about 4 of you might read this post today and that’s fine. I’m actually hoping you’re all out and about enjoying the long weekend, but I figured if you don’t stop by today, you’ll drop by another time.

Just because the title says Sunday – doesn’t mean it’s not as good to read on Monday or Tuesday ;).

So, although I could have said to heck with SuperPost this week or maybe shared 4 or 5 links- I just couldn’t leave these great posts out to dry.

In all honesty, this is how I see it…

This series is NOT about meaningless or selfish link-bait. If you know me well enough, you know I don’t give two shizzles about that.

It’s NOT about butt-kissin’ either. I’m not the ideal poster girl for brown-nosing.

It’s NOT about gaining attention the easy way. Trust me, there’s nothing easy about writing these roundups!

It’s about SHARING!

It’s about giving credit where credit is due!

It’s about helping others spread their voice even further than their own community!

It’s about recognizing the writing efforts and incredible talents of others!

That’s all it is!

I do this series because I genuinely enjoy reading different blogs and telling you about them – at least the one’s that I think are well-deserving.

Does it take time to do?

You bet your ass it does!

Is it worth it?

You bet your ass it is!

Pheww…I’ve said my peace. Now it’s time to do a little sharing.

Two Super Interviews

Many of you have heard of Srinivas Rao aka Surfin’ Srini from The Skool of Life. If you haven’t, shame on you! You can apologize in the comments after you’ve gone over to visit his fantastic blog. Oh, once you’re done apologizing, you can thank me as well lol.

Please excuse my demanding tone, but Srini is one very cool and smart blogger dude that you definitely want to get to know!

Well, besides his beloved blog, Srini also runs Blogcast FM. Once again, if you haven’t heard of this one either, you know what to do in the comments ;).

Last week, he interviewed two of my friends and all-time favorite bloggers – the brilliant Bonsai Boy Danny Brown, and Mufasa, the main mane and the head of the Sheridan clan. Both of these fine and inspiring gentlemen were gracious enough to say a little something about yours truly and I couldn’t thank them enough for their kind thoughts. I’m beyond honored – and I’m now slowly deflating the size of my head hehe!

Trust me guys, you don’t wanna’ miss what DB had to say about content creation, standing out in the blogosphere and using your influence to make the world a better place – especially with that fabulous Scottish accent of his. And you’ll definitely want to listen to and learn a few things from Marcus as he talks about long tail search, creating interesting content and public speaking.

The Practical Guide to Blog Posting Schedules

Some of you may already know that Brankica (aka Sharpy) and I recently published a free guide to 82 blogs and their posting schedules.

I’m happy to say that we’ve received some great feedback so far, and it’s been stumbled almost 2,000 times (insert big smiley face here). So if you haven’t had the chance to download it yet, make sure you do so. It’s bound to make your blog hopping life a little easier and you’re sure to discover a few new blogs along the way. I did!

You can get yourself a copy of the guide here or over at Brankica’s Live Your Love.

And Now on to the Goodies…

“Without further ado and blah blah,” here are this Easter Sunday’s rockin’ SuperPosts on all things Social Media, Blogging Tips, SEO, Internet Marketing, Traffic Building, Online Money Making Tools and more.

Social Media

In the video, I discuss my take on networking. I also talk about a trend I’ve noticed on other blogs and the major mistake most new bloggers make that ultimately doom their businesses to failure (and how to avoid it)…

Rules can be helpful, but they can also close your mind to possibilities and immobilize you. When it comes to social media, the first rule you’re likely to be told is this: “Never start a social media initiative until you know…

Dear Twitter, Yes, I know I should have written you this note quite a while back but I finally had to come to grips with the gross error of my ways when I misjudged your character many moons ago…

We clearly have a pretty active and vocal community here at Spin Sucks. But I look at our analytics every day and see it’s a very small percentage of visitors who are doing the majority of commenting…

A Facebook-only news organization? It was only a matter of time. The Rockville Central, a community news site in the Washington, D.C., area, will move all its operations and news coverage to its Facebook Page…

I’ll start this off be saying this is an idea I’m borrowing from Marcus Sheridan, AKA The Sales Lion. He highlighted 15 bloggers who he said were changing the blogosphere and I think he had an amazing list…

Blogging Tips

Well, I may get socked in the face for this post, but hear me out please. Not commenting or answering comments on blogs is lame! What is Social Media? “Social media are media for social interaction, using highly…

One question that I constantly get asked by you is: How do you create a popular blog? The obvious answer is to write really good content. But good content isn’t good enough. When I started blogging 5 years ago…

You may not have heard of “The War Of Art.”  If you haven’t, let me tell you about it. It’s written by a novelist called Steven Pressfield.  Pressfield has written several books – mostly “historical” fiction.  All of them are good…

Most people walk through life in a living daze. Most people live their lives vicariously through television, sports, or the gossip section. They are afraid to take action, afraid to take a risk. Why? Be average and you don’t risk…

I have noticed a lot of my readers don’t have Gravatars yet. Shame on you. This tiny little picture is an important part of your branding and as such you need to get away from the default and start using something…

Everyone knows that Superman’s great weakness is Kryptonite, fragments of his home planet that travelled with him to earth. That’s how legendary weaknesses arise: the source of our strength is also our greatest weakness…

Internet Marketing

Your marketing entertains your customers by injecting fun, drama, excitement, story-telling, or humor into your communications about your products and services, which establishes a deeper connection…

Online Money Making Tools

Let me begin this post by saying that for the first time ever, ViperChill has crept under the 10,000 Alexa mark (!). The number doesn’t reallymean that much, but it is nice for a site owner to see. What’s even more surprising…

    Hey Griddy,

Last week was an awesome week in the blogosphere wasn’t it? From Marcus (and his classic guest post at Spin Sucks), Danny, Marlee, Christina Crowe and of course Srini’s interviews…off the hook!

Mark Harai brought it big time in his power post on commenting. The community on that post is awesome.

Those are the only folks that I’ve checked out…I think – so I have some clicking to do this evening.

Thanks for keeping us up to date on the latest and greatest. I hope your week has started off VERY well!

    PEACE

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hey JK,
So I’m like 5 days late in replying to you here and I really apologize for that. There are 2 posts which I’ve been behind in responding and I’m trying to catch up now. My bad :(.

All those posts you mentioned rocked and then some my friend! It’s incredible the number of talented bloggers out there and how much there is to learn from each – you included :).

I hope by now you had a chance to read a few of the articles mentioned here – but if not – no worries – there’s another batch coming right up hehe. Boy, does Sunday get here fast eh?

Anyhoo, thanks again for your patience and your super comment. I love your enthusiasm.
      Hope you’re enjoying the weekend.
      All the best

  • http://www.thesaleslion.com/ Marcus Sheridan,The Sales Lion

Well, I’m not sure what to say Griddy other than it humbles me to come by here and receive such kind words. My own mom never built me up so much as a boy 😉 And because you’re so sincere with the people/articles you include, that’s what makes it such an honor to be listed up there a few times.

You’re the best G, hope you know that. And hope your Easter was a joyous one.

    Thank you so very much,

    M

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

Ummm….I’m kinda late in replying to comments on this post – I will have slap myself on the wrist later. My bad Mufasa.

And my dear friend – there’s nothing that I say about you that isn’t true – but you know that by now :). Like I said before – I don’t include your posts in here because I like you – althought I’m sure that helps hahaha – I include them in here because I think they rock! So until you start publishing crap – which I don’t expect to see anytime soon – you’ll just have to get use to having me toot your horn every so often :).

      Talk to you t…d
      Ciao

      • http://www.thesaleslion.com/ Marcus Sheridan,The Sales Lion

Toot away then G :) No crap coming your way, I promise 😉

        • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

          LOL ;).

  • http://spinsucks.com Gini Dietrich

It’s clearly NOT about kissing butts. Sigh… That image is VERY funny and the image of you not being able to get off the couch for the Easter egg hunt makes me laugh really hard!

Could you do me a favor, though? Mufasa has me beat by eight comments on his guest post. Would you mind bribing 10 people to comment on my ASS-U-ME blog post so I can maintain the lead?!

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      LMAO!!!

Anything for you Gin. I will be bribing left and right with hummus and falafels hahaha.

Oh, wait….Are either of you beating my guest post? Grrr….. 😉

      • http://www.thesaleslion.com/ Marcus Sheridan,The Sales Lion

Yeah right Griddy, like that will EVER happen, your post has well over 300 comments. That will still be there until the world comes to an end, rest assured….:-)

        • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

          LMFBO!

Umm…that’s my acronym for “laughing my frickin’ butt off”! I figure if Davina the QOTA can do it then so can Griddy the ATTAC 😉

Ummm…I coined that one a while back – “all things techie with abbreviations challenged” hehe

    • http://www.thesaleslion.com/ Marcus Sheridan,The Sales Lion

Haha Aunt Gini!! Don’t you realize that Griddy and I have a secret conspiracy to rule the entire web?? And that’s why she is so nice to include me in the post above??? Which just so happens to be ahead of you by 10 comments??? 😉 Love ya lady!!

      • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

        Indeed we do ;)!
I’m thinking by the end of 2032 we’ll be a force like null other and even own the Internet – which I’m actually planning to rename the Gridnet muwahaha

        • http://www.thesaleslion.com/ Marcus Sheridan,The Sales Lion

‘Gridnet’ LOL! (btw I’m going to be 51% owner Ms. Griddy, fyi 😉

          • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

49% and that’s my final offer hahaha!

  • http://www.thejackb.com/ The JackB

Nice list. I have been looking for some good content to read and you just saved me some trouble. Thank you.

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hey Jack,

Glad I could help. Some great reads here. Hope you find some useful.
      Thanks for your comment.

      Cheers

    Hey Ingrid,

I just wanted to say a special thank you for including me in the roundup on Sunday. I’ve read several of the other blog posts the past week, and I’m honored to be included with them all. :)

Easter was terrific. In fact, I just finished eating some Easter leftovers (and boy was that a good meal!). I didn’t participate in the Easter egg hunt as well because, well, I just turned 21 and I think it’s high time I stop stealing the candy from the poor little kiddies. But the food was delicious (and I think I might have gained a few pounds last night). 😉

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you – and I’ll be sure to check out the other awesome posts!

    Thanks again!

    Christina

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      You’re 21? YOU”RE 21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
      Grrrrrr…….
I’m just jealous – no need to be scared or panicky lol.

I loved your post – I think it rocked in every which way and you did a hell of job as it was very thorough.

I’m glad you had a great Easter – although I think 21 is still good for the egg hunt ;).

As for gaining a few pounds – well heck, these days – all I have to do is breathe and apparently I get heavier – seriously wtf?

Thanks a lot for coming over Christina. Keep up the great work you’re doing over at Cash Campfire :).

      Have a great week ahead.
      Cheers

      • http://cashcampfire.com Christina Crowe

LOL! Yes, I’m 21. :) I started early – around 18 while just entering college.

Thanks for the encouragement and support. Hope you have an awesome Wednesday!

        Christina

        • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

Well good for you my dear!!!
I know there are great things in store for you :).

  • http://www.expatlifecoach.com/blog John Falchetto

Griddy, first the photo made me laugh. Call me weird but seriously, the egg and the chick, its wrong but its funny.
Now, glad you spoke your mind and I seriously hope its’ not in reaction to some low life trolls.
You’re on top of your game and if anyone had any doubts about it, well maybe they should check their blog, yep thats the crickets you hear boys.

I hope your book on how to comment like Griddy is coming along. Can’t wait to read it. Have a great week :)

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hola John,

Glad you like the photo – I thought it was really cute and so sad haha.

As for speaking my mind – I just wanted to tell folks why I do this series – that’s all. No trolls came by but had they – then you would have been sure to hear about it as I’m sure this kick-ass community would have said it for me lol. But I often read how these roundups are easy to do and great ways to get links and I don’t know what and in all honesty – I don’t know much about link building and this post in particular is anything but easy to compile and write. If I actually knew more about SEO and link building – trust me – I’d have surpassed the Alexa ranking I have now by a mile. But then again – I don’t care much about that. I care about the content and value that I provide here – that’s all.

I’m still in the very early stages of that little guide or post on commenting and I’m trying not to have it be similar to a post I wrote a while back on how to get a boatload of comments – although it’s still unpublished. I figured since quite a few went around I’d wait a bit longer to publish mine lol. It’s one of the few finished posts I have sitting in drafts just waiting for the right time.

Thanks so much for dropping by today John – as you always do. You’ve been such an amazing friend and support and it’s an honor to know you and read your experiences and valuable insight through your posts.

Hope you had a lovely Easter with your family.
      Cheers

  • http://www.3hatscommunications.com/blog/ davinabrewer

As always, some good picks I’ve read along with a few I’ve missed. Playing the podcasts of Marcus and Danny, sure that Scottish brogue will help me focus, write smarter. 😉

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Well hello there QATA,

Glad there are some new ones in here that you haven’t read yet :). And yes – definitely listen to those 2 fellas – great interviews with tons of insight and good stories. Watch out though – Danny’s accent is a lady-killer hehe.

      • http://www.3hatscommunications.com/blog/ davinabrewer

I’ve heard and seen them both in interviews before; listened to Danny’s (noticed YOUR name bandied about) already… Marcus’ podcast is later.

        • http://www.thesaleslion.com/ Marcus Sheridan,The Sales Lion

Wait a second….Danny, then Mufasa?? What the heck Davina?? I thought we were like kindred spirits and all that!! I’m heartbroken, literally heartbroken 😉

          • http://www.3hatscommunications.com/blog/ davinabrewer

Will it get me out of the dog.. -er, LION house if I tell you that your posts get the better RTs? IDK I think lately they do. Promise, I’ll get to your podcast too.

            • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

              Phewww…lol
              I think you’re out of the lion’s den err…

          • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

Awwwww – don’t be heartbroken – I think Danny bribed her to read his first lol. I told you to send her a pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jeez! lol

        • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

Glad you listened to it – now please listen to the mane talk as well so he doesn’t have a heart attack! hahaha

  • http://www.techwork.dk Thomas

Happy Easter to you as well Ingrid. Thank you for another great SuperPost and yes it works fine in a Monday as well 😉 Love the “Holy crap” image you have found Hehe that one really made me laugh.

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hey Thomas,

Thanks for the Easter wishes. Hope you enjoy the reads and yes – I thought that picture was really cute actually – plus it made me chuckle and feel bad for the little chick at the same time lol.

      Have a good week.

    Hi Ingrid

wow another mega post of great reading. We actually have an extra day’s holiday here in Oz as one of our national holidays falls on Easter Monday. Not that bloggers take holidays eh 😉 So have plenty of posts to catch up on.

Thanks for taking the time to compile them for us Ingrid. Appreciated. And Happy Easter to you too Comment Queen.

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hey Lavender Queen,

We have an extra day here too actually. Most everything was closed today – so it was a 4 day weekend. But like you said – to us bloggers, I don’t think it makes much of a difference haha. It does however make me feel less guilty to stay in bed longer lol ;).

I’m happy you enjoyed this roundup Patricia. Hope you had a lovely Easter with your family.

Now when I am so stuffed that I can not move, I decided to turn on the computer and read Ingrid’s Sunday post if she has one. There it is, now with this sluggish restless feelings if I read your post, it is not fair to you. So I woke up put on my glasses and tried to focus hard. Once that was achieved I decided to read the post. Lots of Sunday mentions. I like so many titles but these have to wait until tomorrow.
The Interview sounds awesome. Both smart dudes from your fans. I missed it. Monday, I want to listen to another radio talk by kimberly and Tia. Well I will write rest of the comment tomorrow, as I did not read the extended reading of other people’s post yet. Enjoy rest of the long week end and Easter. I will talk to you tomorrow.
    Fran A

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hey Fran,
I’m a bit late to reply to people on this post this week – sorry about that.
I hope you enjoyed your Easter.

And thanks for taking the time to go through this roundup as you always do :). I hope you found some yummies in there. As for the interviews – they’re just great – not to miss! Both of these men are indeed top-notch every way you look at it.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
      Cheers

  • http://billdorman.wordpress.com Bill Dorman

Whew, a lot of stuff here. Fortunately the family cleared out mid-afternoon and gave me a chance to work on some things.

Gini gave me some ideas to be more efficient so even though I had a HootSuite acct I was not using it anywhere near as well as I could have. I’ve cleaned up some stuff, made some lists and now it’s rock and roll baby…………

It’s always great to hear or see some of your peeps and I loved hearing both Danny & Marcus. Mark Harai had told me to visit Srini earlier but I’m just making it there now and subscribed to his site.

Same with Christina so just now getting by her place and signing up w/ her too. Her post was awesome and I think your reply was a post in and of itself……..imagine that………:)

Joey had a couple of bloggers I didn’t know but after replying to Marcus, Srini, Christina, Lisa, Ilana, Mark & Paul I think I touched quite a few of them in there and on your post. The networking I can do, it’s all the back room stuff I still need to tend to that is slowing me down. I say slowing me down, I still don’t know where I’m going yet………how’s that for a business model……..that’s a big yikes.

I can assure you, my best Gravatar tip would be to rent yours; that alone would drive more traffic to me than that big ol’ head I have up there. Good thing the gravatar is kinda small anyway…….

Busy week for you lady but I see you were able to stay on task. I’m sure I’ll be back once the conversation starts flowing but will probably have to throw the towel in to Sir Marcus this month. Maybe next month if I get out of the gate early I can wear the lion’s head………..

    Have a great week.

    • http://spinsucks.com Gini Dietrich

Did you get HootSuite all set up?!

      • http://billdorman.wordpress.com Bill Dorman

Yes’m; much, much better now. I still have some playing around to make sure I’m maximizing it’s usage, but just setting up my lists was huge. Hit one, drag Billy; hit one, drag Billy……..that’s what all my golfing partners say when they have to carry me during a round of golf………:)

      • http://billdorman.wordpress.com Bill Dorman

Hey, I even found out I do have a Klout score; is 107 a good number……………oh wait, 10.7 but that’s good too, right? Like golf, the lower the better?

        • http://spinsucks.com Gini Dietrich

It’s like AdAge – the lower the number the better.

          • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

And speaking of AdAge – a big fat juicy congrats to you on hitting 40! Woohhoooo!
Don’t forget to tell people we’re friends okay? hahhaha

            • http://spinsucks.com Gini Dietrich

              Um, 39 (cough)

              • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

                Oh shoot! My bad :(.
                WooHooooooo 39!
                Danny better watch out eh?

                • http://spinsucks.com Gini Dietrich

Um, 36 today. DANNY! I am coming after you!!

                    JEEZ!!!!
                    That’s frickin’ amazing!!
I’m doing my happy dance hehe :).
                    Congrats Gin

Now if I could just figure out what we’re doing right so we can keep doing it. :)

Oh, I’d say “just do it”! :)

                    • http://billdorman.wordpress.com Bill Dorman

I’m tellin’ ya, it’s because you are connected to Mr Excitement………….just hold on and I’ll take you anywhere you need to go…………:)

                      No comment haha

                    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

                      LMAO!

        • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

          WOW Bill found Klout :)!
OH, and your life should revolve around that number as it determines how powerful, intelligent, funny, caring and influential you are both offline and on! Muwahahaha

          • http://billdorman.wordpress.com Bill Dorman

I already knew all that, the Klout number just validates it, right?………………………….NOT……..I’m looking at all those adjectives and that’s like when you are being set up on a blind date and they say “well describe him”. Oh, he’s got a great personality…………………..yikes…………..

            • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

LMAO! That’s so funny – and somewhat true ;).

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Howdy Bill,

Rent my Gravatar pic? LOL 😉
Glad to see you’re getting along. I’m sure Gini had lots of good tips for you.
And yes – Mufasa is the top commenter this month but hey – there’s always May right? hehe

Hope you had a chance to read a few of these cause there’s another batch coming your way very shortly. Wow – it’s Sunday again! Damn these weeks are going by fast!

Hope you’re enjoying your weekend. I’ll be seeing you very soon I hope.
      Cheers

Dangit Ingrid, I got on twitter to say what’s up to my buddy and there you are with your Sunday roundup

Nice venting up there… It looks like you were hitting the keys harder and harder with those “It’s NOT about..” and “It’s about..” lines – hahaha… when I’m typing with passion I definitely find myself typing faster and pressing the keys down harder… did you do that?

Anyhow, here I am an hour later letting you know that:

Srini is really cool – I his post about How Making Too Many Life Plans Limits Your Potential – loved it.

I have both blogcast.fm podcasts with Danny and Marcus open to be listened to tomorrow… nice.

Could NOT agree more with Ilana Rabinowitz’s idea of getting into social without having a plan or set objectives. If you just try to always be adding value, hitting objectives and making money become easy as opportunities start hitting you like rain drops (I’m clearly not a poet).

Nice shout out on Joey Strawn’s post.

I’ve been wanting to change my gravatar for a while now, Blog Tyrant may have pushed me over the edge…

Opened two other tabs (not commenting is lame and 7 habits to make that will make your happier) to check out later (that totals 4, not too shabby)… but for now I’m going cross eyed … HAPPY EASTER!

      Hey Arsham,

My apologies for the late reply here. I was a bit behind on a couple posts with the comments and I’m trying to catch up today. Thanks a lot for your patience.

And yes – I was pressing down on those keys pretty hard when typing NOT! haha
I just wanted to make it a point and to explain why I do these roundups – that’s all.

I hope you enjoyed Danny’s and Marcus’s interviews with Srini. All 3 of those guys are just awesome – to say the least!

Joey is a just a fantastic story-teller and always has some great reads for us.

There really are some great articles in this roundup – as in all of them I would hope lol. I’m actually working on today’s SuperPost as we speak so make sure to check back in a few hours – there should be some more goodies for ya.

      Have a great Sunday
Thanks for that super comment Arsham – really nice having you as a part of this vibrant community.

      Cheers

Wow – I must now be a blogging superstar! Mentioned in Ingrid’s Sunday Round Up two weeks on the trot! I must rock, right?

    Right?

Just kidding – thanks for linking to my post over at Brankica’s house, I loved writing that post. Especially as it turned out totally different to the original post I envisaged for Brankica – I held onto it for a week trying to summon up the courage to tell her that I’d written something different from what I originally promised her (I was scared she might come find me and shoot my ass off LOL!). But she was very cool about reading the new direction and publishing – for which she gets my great thanks!

I know the feeling of being rather full…don’t worry, you can go for a jog or do something virtuous tomorrow. I’m going to swim a kilometre!

Take it easy – and thanks again.

    Paul

I agree – it’s always a great feeling seeing your work recognized and appreciated by folks :). Congrats Paul and well deserved.

Paul, don’t forget that every time she mentions you, Girddy also sends you a cheque :)

      • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

        Hahaha! True dat! 😉

      LOL Paul!

You do indeed rock – in every sense of the way – that’s for sure!
I just hope these small mentions of mine bring some extra traffic and worthy comments your way.

As for Bran – she’s pretty good at refraining herself from shooting folks straight away haha. And I have no doubt that she loved it as did every person who read it – including me. I recently installed Kindle for PC and was able to download Pressfield’s latest book that I told you about “Just do the work” – I’m really looking forward to reading it. It was also free for the Kindle edition – pretty cool.

As for going for a jog – I’m sorry to say that THAT didn’t happen. I believe I ate some more at night haha. A 1 kilometer swim does sound like quite the challenge though – please do let us know if you felt like you needed a buoy at some point lol.

Keep up the awesome work. I’m really loving what you’re doing and I’m actually reading your latest post on Comment Love-In now :).

      Have a wonderful week Paul.
      Cheers

The swim thing is a bit of a challenge – but if I don’t swim three times a week my knees seize up and give me serious grief. So it’s a kilometre three times a week. (Actually in true Deliberate Practice mode I add two lengths every time).

I plan to swim 5KM for charity next April too! Need my knees to toughen up for that though.

Thanks for all your mentions – and so JF knows, your cheques are in the mail!

        Paul

WOW – that’s really impressive Paul. Best of luck to you on the 5K.

LOL for the cheques :). Ummm…did you use FedEx? haha
