For all you art aficionados out there, this apps’ for you!

In case you’re not aware, The Museum of Modern Art in New York hosts the world’s finest collection of modern and contemporary art. Needless to say how beautiful of a place it is! If you have the chance to go, I cannot recommend it enough, and if you’ve been, you know exactly what I mean.

Thanks to this snazzy and educational iPhone/iPad application called MoMA (by MoMA), you can now carry the entire museum and all its masterpieces around with you in your back pocket – or handbag if you’re me :).  And best of all, it’s free!

You can use the MoMA app to:

• Find out about current and upcoming exhibitions, film schedules, program dates…
• Plan a tour (by floor, by exhibition…)
• Browse or search the thousands of art works in the collection
• Take a multimedia tour
• Learn about artists and art terms
• Choose a playlist to create a soundtrack to accompany you on your tour
• And a whole lot more…
