I was directed to this hysterical video about Social Media by a fellow Twitterer. It was animated using Xtranormal.com; a website dedicated to helping anyone make a movie through text-to-speech – a revolutionary approach where you type something (the script) and it’s turned into a movie.

The Social Media guy in the movie is “an amalgam of a hundred different half-assed guru-wannabes” that Freelance Journalist Markham Nolan, has encountered online and in real life. Nolan originally created this film to pitch to Ireland’s Small Firms Association (SFA) but instead decided to release it for free on YouTube. Since its YouTube debut about 6 months ago, “The Social Media Guru” has been viewed over 157,000 times.
