SuperPost Sunday – Weekly Roundup #24

April Fools Day SuperPost Sunday Weekly Roundup #24Hello My Lovelies,

So did any of you fall for any silly April Fools jokes?

Don’t be embarrassed to share. We won’t tease you. This is a loving, caring and supportive community and we empathize with each other. Muwahaha!

Wow – I almost believed myself up ^^^ there. OF COURSE we’re gonna’ tease you – that’s what we do here on nittyGriddy ;). But we do it in the name of love, care and support.

Smart & Sneaky April Foolers

Speaking of April Fool’s, I came across a few fun and creative articles on Friday that I think you’ll enjoy.

Bonsai Boy Danny Brown – who if I might add, looked incredibly perrrty with his new hairdo on Friday – wrote an ALMOST believable piece about Twitter banning the use of the hashtag. You may want to read this to find out the cracked up reason that Danny concocted for why Twitter did so. It’s funny, smart as hell, and had it not been a joke, it could have oddly made some sense lol.

Have you ever wanted to have the brain of a Social Media Guru? Well, search no more. Lisa Thurell from Off The Grid PR shows us exactly how Danny Brown’s brain can be transplanted with the use of the Guru Brain Sucking Machine. Seriously, you don’t want to miss this post. Plus, you get to see just how perrrty DB looked with his ummm…new make-over lol. Kudos to Aunt Gini for sending this piece my way. I’m glad I didn’t miss this!

The ever-so chipper Jay Dolan from The Anti-Social Media wrote a great sarcastic piece on why you should follow everyone so you never miss anything again. Not only that, but he completely transformed his site for the occasion. I hope it’s still there for you today cause Mr. Anti-Social went all lovey-dovey and became Mr. Social Friendly – with hearts and all! Nicely done! A definite must read and see.

Over at PostcardMania there was an official announcement that their postcards would be made from manure from now on. Processed horse poop to be exact – as it seems the environmentally friendly horse shit has a patented scent-reduction technology which makes the new postcards smell like roses. ALMOST! A very creative and short blog post. Nice to know those folks have a good sense of humor.

Okay, I think 4 posts loaded with fun crap (pun intended) is enough. I have one more useful musing for you before you go on to enjoy the feast of link love.

Instapaper to the Resuce

How many of you have had their computers or open tabs crash this week?

If you’re a Mac user – butt out of this cause I know you’re gonna’ brag about how Mac doesn’t crash, Mac doesn’t get viruses, Mac rules, Mac blah blah blah! And I believe you on all those counts. But I’m still a PC gal and I like my “Windows” the way they are – even though there are times I want to stomp it to death while yelling out obscenities before throwing it over the balcony of a one hundred-storey high rise.

What can I say – I’m just peacefully stubborn that way I guess.

Okay, rant over…breathe deeply…and now back on track…

My 99+ open tabs have crashed twice this week and my Shockwave whatchamacallit plugin another 2 or 3 times. You can imagine the look on my face each time they did. Priceless = understatement!

So of course, I was telling my Virtual BFF and gal pal Gini Dietrich, how livid I was when she replied with ONE wise word of wisdom…

INSTAPAPER!

I so could have kissed my Aunt Gini for that tip but I settled with bunch of virtual hugs and “I love you’s” lol. Oh, before I forget, she’s got another two kick-ass blogging tools for you today over at SpinSucks.

If you’re like me and have a tendency to open an unimaginable number of tabs – to the point where they’re so small you need specs to see them, then Instapaper might be the knight in shining armor that you need.

Instapaper SuperPost Sunday Weekly Roundup #24

It’s a simple tool that allows you to save web pages on your computer, Kindle, iPhone and iPad so that you can come back and read them later. Brankica, I just saw your face light up when I said Kindle here so by all means, feel free to send virtual Roma kisses my way.

Now, I know what you’re thinking – “bookmarks Ingrid!” Well it’s not the same – trust me.

All you have to do is drag their icon to your bookmark’s bar and tadaaaa. Whenever you’re on a page that you don’t have time to read, you just click on “Read Later” and it will save it for you. You can even create folders to put each page in as I did. I now have a folder called “SuperPost Sunday” :).

Alright, enough talking. If you want to know more about Instapaper – you’ll just have to head over there and find out for yourself. I doubt that you’ll be sorry. Heck, you may even send a few virtual hugs my way afterwards ;).

Time for the Goods…

“Without further ado and blah blah,” here are this Sunday’s rockin’ SuperPosts on all things Social Media, Blogging Tips, SEO, Internet Marketing, Traffic Building, Online Money Making Tools and more.

Social Media

This is the question that eventually gets asked by every person and every company trying Twitter for the first time.  In the height of your initial frustrations, you may be wondering … is Twitter really for me…

When I look at my Twitter feed or my Facebook wall I sometimes feel I work for the United Nations. Races, religions, languages, cultures, you name them, they are there. Danny Brown recently exposed…

Back in the day, if you wanted to know how successful your marketing had been you had to use expensive and time-consuming analysis. You might have spent time putting together a direct mail package…

When I first started studying the principles of inbound marketing and social media, I was struck with the number of media I ‘just had to implement’ based on everything I was hearing from the experts. From Facebook, to blogging…

I received an email this week from Dave Wellman, who is struggling with a problem experienced by many social media newcomers. His question: “How does a real unknown like me get the big name social media marketers…

Blogging Tips

The internet provides a wonderful platform for free speech…I love that. But with it, comes a natural breeding ground for perpetrators and counterfeits. There is one area where bad information is festering more…

To share or not to share…There has been some debate on whether or not it is a good idea to share your personal life on your blog. For some of you, the nature of your blog may dictate the answer to this question…

I have been thinking about this topic for a long time. I tried to keep my inner voice to myself, but if you have read my blog before, you surely noticed that my inner voice has a bullhorn. I say what I think…

My first contact with blogging was way back in 2003. Back then blogging was just a hobby and a medium for expression. It was beautiful. Then in July of 2010 I stepped into the professional realm of blogging…

I was surfing YouTube the other day and ran into an old video I really love. As soon as I heard the song, I was reminded of We Blog Better blog. Yes, call me crazy, but some blogs just have music written all over them…

When I started using Live Writer over a year ago, I could take it or leave it. But since Live Writer’s recent upgrade, I use it nearly exclusively. When I’m forced to use WordPress, I want to kick the screen with frustration…

I see it all the time, why even some of the more prolific bloggers do it! It amazes me and it shocks me, so I want to help remedy it, because to be honest – it’s not doing anyone any good. What exactly am I talking about…

SEO

Most SEO professionals have very definite ideas about the Internet. For example, many believe SEO is essential for any website to succeed – whether the business is limited to delivering three blocks or thirty…

Traffic Building

Everyone wants Traffic. But not everyone really knows what Traffic they want, or why they want it. And many are very happy when they get one type of Traffic…But what they really need is another type of Traffic altogether…

Internet Marketing

This is one of those videos that can be taken the wrong way if you don’t watch from start to finish. I realize it’s a long video, but I felt it was necessary to get my points across. Below, I offer my opinions…

Lately I’ve been on a happiness kick. I’ve been going over various projects, activities, and aspects of my lifestyle and asking myself, Does this really make me happy? Many people say that happiness comes from…

What’s your passion? Is it a passion for passion? Do you make money from that passion? Are you so passionate about it that you run 10k races in your wool Men’s Warehouse suit? Or jump into the air…

Admitting that I’m a bit drunk at the time of writing is probably not the most professional way of starting an article, ain’t it? OK, I’m not really drunk because it would be difficult to put some decent words together…

In the flood of information that we encounter every day (often a courtesy of the Internet:) we get often sidetracked from doing what’s most important. So I have decided to write 7 Most Important Things To Do Everyday…

What sets your business apart from others? What keeps your clients coming back for more? Even better, what makes people talk about your business and want to share their stories about it with others…

As a creative person, you pride yourself on doing things differently, ditching the template, and standing apart from featureless, clustered, homogeneous masses. But what if your shunning of the status quo is actually…

Mediocrity- a disease that is spreading slowly through the ranks of communication professionals across the country. It is infiltrating employees, products, services, and communication strategy…

I was in Santiago de Chile to interview students and experts for my master’s thesis, when my husband dropped the bomb: he wasn’t sure if he would still be happy with me in the long run. I was 26 years old and heading…

“He who trims himself to suit everyone will soon whittle himself away.” – Raymond Hull. Standing up for yourself is a trait that people admire in today’s society, even if they hate it when they’re the one that you’re standing…

  • http://twitter.com/shawnetuma Shawn E. Tuma, J.D.

Lately I have been finding a real value in your “super post” wrap up each week. I have been entirely too busy and it had very little time to spend browsing from site to site/post to post to find information to read that will help me continue to learn even during these busy times. Fortunately for me, you have taken the work out of this and all I have to do at the end of each week is go to one post and find the topics that most interest me — and voila — it’s all there! Thanks for all of your hard work Ingrid.

On another note, I couldn’t live without Instapaper (and Evernote). I spend so much time bouncing from project to project, place to place (office, home, clients’ offices, courts, stadiums at kids’ sporting events, etc.), and device to device (office desktop, laptop, iPad, iPhone) that I often find something I want to read but end up getting pulled away before I can finish it — so I Instapaper it and then, when I’m sitting in the stadium at the kids’ track meet (for sometimes up to 4 hours!) I just pull it up on my iPad and it is so much easier to catch up. Then, if after reading it on Instapaper, I decide that I want to keep it for future reference, I Evernote it and then move on … my oh my how I love technology!!!

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hey Shawn,

Good to see you here :). I appreciate you stopping by and commenting. And what a great comment it is!

I love the fact that you find this roundup useful – I hope that many others do as well. I really take the time to do them and obviously I read every post that I include here. I can’t please everyone with my taste – I know – but I will include posts that I think deserve to be read by as many people as possible.

I fell in love with Instapaper as well – it really comes in handy and makes my life a little easier – not to mention – I have less tabs open – although I still have a lot. Plus as you said – when you’re switching from one computer to the next – it makes it easier for you to keep tabs.

Unfortunately I haven’t used Evernote yet – and I know everyone boasts about it – especially Gini. I tried downloading it a while back on my phone and PC but it didn’t work properly for me. It’s still not available for my region on my phone :(. But I think that’s the phone’s fault. I use Blackberry and the App world isn’t available where I live and right now – it’s the only way to download Evernote – or so I know of.

      Gotta’ love technology indeed :)!

Thanks again for this awesome comment. I hope to see you around these parts more often. And if you didn’t get the chance to do much reading this week – there will be a new SuperPost published tomorrow so definitely stop by again at some point to get some great links.

      Have a great weekend.
      Cheers

PS – sorry for the late reply. Hectic week :(.

  • http://markharai.com Mark Harai

Jeez Ingrid, you’re a machine and these are all some great links (so far, haven’t read them all). How you consume so much information and thoughtfully share them (your read every one of them) is crazy.

I think you must have a team you’re not telling us about? Maybe you’re from another planet and sleep isn’t required?

Maybe when you had Danny’s brain sucked into your head they both stayed in tact and now you do the work of two super smart people?

Anyhoo, thanks for all you do, you’re a pretty amazing woman!

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hola Mark,
Thanks so much for what you said :). It seems I am like a little post machine these days haha. But it’s well worth it. Some posts just deserve to be read by as many people as possible and if I can lend a small helping hand then I will.

Unfortunately I don’t have a team although that would just rock – but I will tell you that I get a lot less sleep than I use to lol.

As for Danny’s brain – it’s just awesome. All of a sudden I started spurting out random Scottish expressions. It’s pretty cool I tell ya haha.

Thanks a lot Mark – you’re a wonderful support and I appreciate all that you do too. I’m happy we’ve connected and I look forward to getting to know you more and more during this awesome journey of ours.

Hope you’re having a great weekend. And I apologize for my late reply.

      Cheers

  • http://blog.esimplestudios.com Gabriele Maidecchi

Well that’s one creative use of Instapaper, but I wonder, even though you’re on Windows (condolances for that), why don’t you use a browser like Chrome with automatic restore of opened tabs in case it crashes? Not to mention you really gotta try hard to crash it, as each Tab behaves like a separate application and so far I only managed to crash a single one of them and not the whole boat.
I mainly use Instapaper to save for later stuff I wanna read with calm from my iPad for example, but your use is good as well of course, just giving my 2 cents 😀

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hey Gabriele,

Actually I do use Chrome – that’s the one that’s been crashing. You can imagine now how many windows I have open hehehe. I was a big fan of Firefox and still use it as well but lately it’s been Chrome 90% of the time. I think what’s happening is that since I rarely shut off the computer and I leave so many windows open – my Shockwave flash plugin is crashing and taking everything with it. And although as you said Chrome has the restore option – much like Firefox – the last few times it didn’t show it. :(

I use Instapaper for that same reason but I also use it to save stuff I’ve already read and then I move them to my SuperPost Sunday folder so I can come back and include them in my post. It’s been practical so far but it means come Saturday night – I have more work to do cause in general I would just keep that post open all week and include each post as I came across it.

      Oh well…

Anyways, thanks a lot for coming by and taking the time to comment. Appreciated.
Hope you’re having a good weekend.

      Cheers

Instapaper has been a godsend for me. I’m surprised people are only discovering it now, but better late than never. One of my favourite things about Instapaper is that it has an API for developers to use. This has allowed Reeder to include the option of clicking a button to send a post you’re reading in the RSS reader directly to Instapaper without opening up the item in a tab first. Unfortunately, Reeder is iPad/Mac only, but I’m sure there are some great RSS readers for Windows… well, maybe you’re stuck with Google Reader only. Sorry!

One other quick mention about it, you download a file to put onto the Kindle, it doesn’t sync up (unless you used the Kindle browser to go to the Instapaper website to read). It’s painless to move the file over manually or use the paid option to email it to the Kindle, but it’s still not quite as convenient as we would all like.

Now, if only there was a button that said “Instapaper all links” that I could use each Sunday…

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hey James,

I know how you feel about Instapaper. I have it open all week now and I save a bunch of posts in there that I either want to read later or that I want to remember to include in this roundup that I do every Sunday. It’s great.

I wasn’t aware of that option Reeder option but then again as you know – I use a PC. But I sure hope more people read your comment here so that they know if they don’t already.

As for the Kindle side of it – I don’t use a Kindle – but I’m more and more interested in getting one. Maybe next time I’m in the US I will.

Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment here and for the extra tips on Instapaper. Much appreciated.

      Happy Saturday to ya.
      Cheers

I read many, many blogs Griddy, as you know, but none do I seem to read as thoroughly as yours, comments and all. Along with my super heroes like Danny, Gini, and a few others, the ‘community’ here is special, really special. What’s interesting though, community, wherever you find it in society, simply takes on the attributes of its leader (that’d be you ;-)….hence the intelligent and enjoyable conversation that takes place here (although, I do hope your community sleeps a little more than you do Griddy ;-).

Thanks for starting my week off right every time, it’s a treat being here.

      Hey Mufasa,

First and foremost – although you’re gonna’ yell at me for this – I’m sorry for the late reply. There – I said it! I just had to.

Second – what a comment!!! I love it and I’ve been smiling all week because of it :). Thank you.
The community here is just awesome – but it is also that way because of people like you my friend. I go by the principle that my blog is your blog. I really should add that to my new tagline – you know – the one that’s already a mile long hahahaha.

I have no doubt that most earthlings sleep more than I do during the week. But hey, that’s what weekends are for right? 😉

Thanks again so much for what you said here. It’s really comments like this one that makes me want to keep doing this and get better at it. It also makes me want to find a print option for comments so that I can make a nice ego-boosting binder that I can come back to and read every so often.

Hope you’re having a great weekend.
I’m working on tomorrow SuperPost as we speak :).

      Cheers

Thank you for the mention Griddy. Means a lot. Thank you thank you thank you!

That Instapaper sounds interesting. I rarely open more than 10 tabs at once – it just gets way to overwhelming when I do. But I love having all the productivity tools at my fingertips because you never know when you’ll need them.

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve really looked forward to this weekly roudup. It’s a great cheat (for me) to go back and review all the awesome content I missed. I trust each link that you provide because it’s obvious that quality is your thing.

Well Miss Griddy, thank you so much for linking back to my “Keep it Real” Article. It’s my biggest one yet. So seeing it here means a lot, so I’m grateful! Plus, isn’t getting linked up on nittygriddy.com the step before getting a Hollywood Start? :)

    I’ll be back soon. PEACE

    • http://www.thesaleslion.com/ Marcus Sheridan,The Sales Lion

First, to answer your question JK, yes, Hollywood is the only place to go from this point 😉

But I was thrilled to see Griddy include you here, because you really deserve it (Ingrid is quite the talent scout), and it all excites me that even more people will now get to see your insights on display. Thrilled for your growth my friend…..and it’s just beginning.

      Marcus

      • http://hustlersnotebook.com Jk Allen

I knew it Marcus…I’m on my way to Hollywood! LOL

I was trilled to be in the midst of all the great folks. It’s a good feeling for sure!

          Awww you are too kind!
Thank you JK for all your support with these roundups.
          Cheers

      • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

        LOL Mufasa!
In that case – I’m headed to Bollywood muwahaha.

And you’re totally right – that article really deserved to be here and I hope it gets even more exposure as it was great!

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Well hello Mr. Hustler 😉

You are most welcome for the mention and that post deserved to be here and on any other roundup list – although I think this one is pretty cool to be on haha.

I hope more people get the chance to read it as I loved it.

Instapaper is just so useful and I’m grateful to Gini for pointing it in my direction. It’s so simple and easy and practical at the same time. Let me know what you think if you do decide to check it out.

I’m so glad you find these roundups useful – it makes doing them all the more enjoyable and worthwhile when people such as yourself tell me that. And thank you for the vote of confidence on my selection. Now I’m kinda scared that you won’t like one of these and come back here to yell and curse me out haha.

Oh, and a big fat LMAO at the Hollywood start comment. Heck, if that’s the case – I really should lik to a few of mine as well haha. Just imagine – the next time you come here – 15 of the links will be to my articles and the rest to my social media accounts haha.

Awesome comment JK. You’re such a pleasure to have in this kick-ass community. Now I’m off to reply to that Mufasa friend of ours below ;).

      Happy Friday to ya.
And my apologies for the late reply here.

Whew, didn’t we just do this? I’m surprised you are not still replying to like post 17 or something…..

I think maybe I have arrived……..at least in my own mind……….. I’ve seen all the Social Media posts you have listed. Of course, who’s haven’t I seen, right?

Ah, but Blogging Tips is one I better jump in and get educated; I’m sure it will be full of good stuff in there. Mish Mash looks like it had some interesting reads as well.

When it’s all said and done I will probably have some new friends I can ‘latch’ on to, huh?

Instapaper………….no comment; that’s about 3 or 4 levels away from me I’m sure, but I’m glad it has been a savior for you. Makes me think of WhiteOut…………do they even make that anymore? I think you are turning into a regular techie head, I do…………:).

A plate well served with plenty of meat I see; you are such a gracious host to keep us so well fed.

    Have a fabulous week.

      Hey Bill,

I’m finally back here hahaha. I think my weekend will be spent on replying to comments on my Bring IT! post from Wednesday since I haven’t had the chance to tackle those yet :(. But have no fear – Griddy’s mechanical fingers are being put in place and I’m having 2 clones made – I figured if Gini could have 2 then I could have 2 lol :).

I love how you’re always so enthusiastic – thank you for adding even more life to the party :).

Seeing that I’m 4 days late in replying – I presume that you already had the chance to read a couple or so of the Blogging Tips and MishMash’s. But if not – they’re worth it. Always something interesting to read and even learn. Heck, I do.

Instapaper is actually reallllly easy to use. You should definitely check it out – there’s not much to it and it’s very basic but helpful all the same. Trust me – if it was too much on the techie side then I probably wouldn’t have gone near it lol.

As for WhiteOut – ahhhh, the good old days. It mostly came in handy for me during report card time hahaha.

Thanks for that super comment. Made me smile.

Happy Friday to you Bill. I’ll see you over at Bring IT! soon – I know you and Brankica had a few funny back and forths so I won’t be missing those hahaha.

      Cheers

Ingrid! Seriously How do you do it? If finding the best content online means you crash your browser from time to time, well its the price of to pay for greatness right?

The post about Danny’s brain transfer cracked me up. To tell you the truth when I saw your photo under Danny’s name on April fools, I thought well the Bonsai boys got too much time on their hands :)

I use Evernote to save posts I want to read later, I was wondering how did Instantpaper work differently?

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      LOL John.

Honestly – with a lot less sleep during the week than I’d like to!
This particular post is open all week as a draft that I update every time I come across an article that I think deserves to be here.
And I guess you’re maybe right – with blogging comes a small crashing price to pay lol.

I’m glad Gini directed me to that post or I may have missed it. I was LMAO when I read it :). The Bonsai Boys plus Gini and I had a fun time doing that little switch. Although I have to tell you – I even confused myself haha. I kept having to look at the name. I was Troy – he was Gini – she was Danny – and he was me. 😉

I’ve been trying to use Evernote since Gini wrote about it in a post but it keeps telling me unavalaible for my region :( Grrr….

Instapaper is really simple and basic actually but its practical and it keeps you from having a ton of pages open. Check it out and let me know what you think. Gini was saying below how you can send your Instapaper links to Evernote.

Thanks so much for all the kindness and support John. You’re really amazing.
Hope you have a great week ahead.

      Cheers

OMG! You kill me! LOL!! I cannot wait until we’re more than virtual BFFs! I’ve been reading this series since the beginning and I have to say it gets better and better every week. You’re really expanding your blog library and it’s fun to watch!

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      LOL ME TOO!!! Hopefully soon.

I know you have been reading this series since the beginning – and you were the one who advised me to pick this particular name that I had come up with me :). And I’ll always be grateful to you for that and all your support.

I’m glad that you think it keeps getting better – makes me smile and think I’m doing something right :).

      Thanks so much Gin. Really!

I second that Aunt Gini. There are tons of ‘review posts’ out there, but Griddy’s is different. I don’t know what it is, maybe it’s the fact that you and I read it imagining the 81 year old voice behind the words ;-)…..or, quite possibly, it’s Griddy’s effortless conversational tone that makes us all smile a little as we get to see the world from here point of view…..Hmmm, not sure which one to tell you the truth Gini, but if you figure it out, let me know. :-)

      • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

Awwww you guys! My 81 year old face and wrinkles are blushing ;)!

Thank you so much for what you said here Mufasa. I love that you love my conversational tone :) and honestly with a community like you guys – it comes fairly naturally. I think many of you (including you and Gin – big time!) have that similar tone and style that acts like a magnet and keeps people coming back.

        You rock!
        #thatisnotallbutallfornow lol

        • http://www.thesaleslion.com/ Marcus Sheridan,The Sales Lion

Now that I think about it, an article on ‘conversational tone’ would be really, really helpful Ms. Griddy. You should add that to your list of, ohhhh, 347 other post ideas 😉

          smiles

          rr

          • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

An article on conversational tone eh? Alright Mr. Mufasa – I’m adding it as number 348 haha. It’s a pretty great idea though, I gotta admit :).

Lol, you know me better than I know myself!!! My face did light up. And not just Kindle related but I am like you and have always at least 20-30 tabs open.

Oh, my hubby wanted to check something fast and his computer was off so comes over to mine, closes my tabs and opens a single fresh one, cause he can’t work in this browser clutter. And then he realizes what he did. OMG, it was so funny. Fortunately I managed to restore all the tabs.

Anyway, I am gonna use that thingy Gini told you about. However, if you are using Firefox, there is an add on you can install, Read Later that saves stuff for you. Also, I just started using Evernote, it looks cool, you can save the whole URL, or the whole post, or just select a part of the post and save it. Cool stuff.

Well, I will be working a bit today, while Roma is sending you licks. She is sunbathing and chewing on a football at the moment :)

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

Hahaha! Good to know that I hit the bullseye ;).

And another LOL at what your hubby did. Glad you were able to restore. Funnily enough I did the same thing when using a friends Mac once. I get so aggravated that the side window thingy’s kept popping up every time I moved the cursor that I closed everything by mistake. Well, maybe a subconscious kind of mistake haha.

I really like the Instapaper so far – it’s very basic but efficient. I tried downloading Evernote a few weeks ago – I know Gini is a huge fan of that tool and she actually wrote an entire post about it – but it wasn’t available for my region :(! So I still haven’t been able to use it unfortunately but I keep hearing pretty great stuff about it.

Make sure to put some SPF 50 on Roma so she doesn’t peel after her tan haha.

Really liked your GP on WBB – nicely done as always Sharpy.

      Have a great Sunday.
Talk to you soon my Sharp Shootin’ Serb ;).

      Ciao

I WOULD KILL HIM!!!!!!! I was just going to say, you can send your Instapaper links to Evernote, too. They just added that feature a week or so ago. It’s really freaking slick!

      • http://live-your-love.com/ Brankica U

Thought about killing him, but he is too HOT to go to waste :)

        • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

          Understandable haha!

        • http://spinsucks.com Gini Dietrich

          HAHAHAHA! LOL!

      • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

        Hahaha!
I would to but it seems I’m a rather patient person ;). Hey at least she was able to recover them thank goodness.

BTW – I’ve been trying to use Evernote since the post you wrote on it – I downloaded it on my computer and on my phone but it keeps saying that it’s not available for my region :(. Bummer!

        • http://spinsucks.com Gini Dietrich

Seriously? I’m going to ask them why it’s not available and when it will be!

          • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

I tried downloading it on my phone and that’s what it said – because it’s available from app world and app world is not available to my region – so I can’t download anything from there. I usually find ways to go around it or find the software somewhere else but still working on this one. :(

So unfortunately – until app world is available here or until there is another place to download Evernote from – I’m stuff with post its and stuff haha.

Thanks for the link love Ingrid, you’re awesome!

Oh and seriously – that Instapaper looks genius!

Oh, and I assume you forgot to change the permalink here? If not then I hate to be the one to say it but ‘Auto-Draft-2’ sucks as a title. :)

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hello Aussie :)
My pleasure – I love a good post with the words comments and linger hahaha!
Instapaper definitely came in handy for me – I’m just having fun clicking away ;).

Ooops – thanks for the heads up on the permalink – I just fixed that. You’re right – auto-drafts 2 is kind of a shitty title eh?!

      Thanks Alex
      Talk to you later

      Ciao

Thank you for all the goodies Ingrid.

Hope the goodies come in handy for you.

Thanks so much for dropping by. Always appreciated.

      • http://www.techwork.dk Thomas

Have not had the time to look at all these goodies yet, but they have been bookmarked for later review.

  • http://dannybrown.me Danny Brown

Haha, I hadn’t seen that Off The Grid one (though you might wanna check the link, miss, it’s a locked page – I had to go to Facebook to see it).

As per usual, great collection of resources, and I know how my Sunday afternoon is shaping up to be. :)

Cheers, Griddy, have a great one!

    • http://live-your-love.com/ Brankica U

I tried to see that page but it asks for a login. Where can I find it!?

      • http://dannybrown.me Danny Brown
        • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

Danny – for some reason I’m not seeing that same login request you guys are getting. Do you mind if I use this FB link of yours instead?

          • http://dannybrown.me Danny Brown

No worries, just send the check in the mail, miss. 😉

            • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

Sure thing DB – Is that Bonsai with an S or a Z? 😉

            • http://live-your-love.com/ Brankica U

              Just saw it. Hilarious!!!

              • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

I was laughing so hard when I saw it as well! :)

      • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

That’s so weird – why am I not getting that same login request?

      • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

Bummer I don’t know why it’s doing that – okay I switched the links and used the FB one that Danny provided for us :).

I also lost all my tweet counts cause I had to go back and change the permalink on this article :(. For some reason it said auto-drafts 2 at first. Oh well…

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hey DB

I thought that post was just a riot! Had it not been for Gini – I would have missed it! I was LMAO when I read it.

I just clicked on the link – and I had no problem. I’m sorry – I don’t know why it’s doing that. I will check again and see.

I’m always thrilled to have you here Bonsai – hope you enjoy some of these reads.
      Have a great Sunday.
      Talk to you later.

      Cheers
