SuperPost Sunday – Weekly Roundup #17

Hello My Lovelies,

And welcome to SuperPost Sunday XVII!

Every Sunday for the past 17 weeks, I’ve tried my best to come up with humorous or witty intros to this series in an effort to entertain you…or bewitch you with my mystical words – whichever lol. And in all honesty, I think I’ve been doing a decent ass job so far – don’t you think?

Wow, how very uncool of me to have worded my question so that it answers itself, huh? Dammit, I did it again ;).

Well, I gotta’ be honest with you – I don’t have much of a punch for ya this week, so I hope you’ll forgive me for getting straight to the goodies. Either that or you’ll probably thank me for the shortER post lol.

I do want to say however, that I’m super pleased with how my Bring IT! series has taken off. I know there’s only been 2 of them so far but the conversations have been fantastic. So once again, a jumbo-sized thank you to all of you who have been so supportive and generous with your takes.

I also have a pretty interesting Valentine’s Day post and infographic for you tomorrow, so make sure to check back then. No worries, there will be no lovey-dovey talk of any kind.

It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, It’s Griddy’s SuperPost!

the griddy plane SuperPost Sunday Weekly Roundup #17

Cheesy heading – I know. But convenient nonetheless.

So how ’bout that Griddy plane? Ain’t it the bomb?!

Oh, and there was no photoshoping of any kind my friends. It’s real, it’s not huge, but it flies :D!

Alright, enough said…

“Without further ado and blah blah,” here are this Sunday’s kick-ass SuperPosts on all things Social Media, Blogging Tips, SEO, Internet Marketing, Traffic Building, Online Money Making Tools and more.

What’s wrong with my blog? That’s a very frustrating question that many bloggers ask. You’re passionate about your topic and you provide great advice to solve reader’s problems. You wrap up your posts…

I read a crazy statistic today. Most bloggers quit blogging in the first 2-3 months. That one smacked me in the face. There are 31 million blogs in the U.S. and there will be 34 million blogs by the end of the year. But the Pew…

I whole-heartedly agree that weeklies are tough! I used to do them, and plan to again but I want to come up with a theme.

I can’t thank you enough for using your precious time to link to my post. I sincerely appreciate it!

Hope your week starts off amazingly. Now I have to go read the Very Bad Example you’ve linked to here because the title is just too enticing to pass up!

    Cheers,
    Tia

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hi Tia,

Hope you had a nice weekend.

Yeah, they are tough to do, cause they take time and it’s an everyday process as I was explaining to Dino here. But again, I love doing it and people seem to be finding them useful. But I was thinking of eventually limiting them to 20 picks tops – although that’s really hard to do for me.

You’re most welcome – I thought your post was great!

Definitely check out Very Bad Example – Erika is a hell of a writer and she’ll make you LYAO a few times :).

      Have a great Monday.
      Cheers.

Nice airplane Ingrid. You must be a pretty successful blogger having your own plane and everything :-)

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Thanks Thomas :).

If I could actually fit in it, then I would be the happiest blogger alive lol.

But for now, seeing that it’s radio controlled and only about twice my size (which is still pretty impressive), it can fit up to 2 small furry animals and a bag of candy to drop at folks when it flies by hehe. I think 6 kilos at most though.

      Cheers

  • Judy Dunn

Thanks for mentioning my Princess Syndrome post here! I agree with the other posters. Takes a lot of work to do this. We appreciate you. : )

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hi Judy,

IT’s good of you to stop by. Thank you very much for what you said. It means a lot to know that your work and efforts are being appreciated.

I loved your Princess Syndrome article – it was spot on – as usual!
      Have a great Sunday.

      Cheers

  • http://twitter.com/ElisesReview Elise M

Thanks so much Ingrid! 😛 Love the links as always that you list here, and I’m excited for your V-Day post and infographic! (LOVE those infographics, haha)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hey Elise,

My pleasure. All I did was include something great that YOU wrote :).
I’m a huge fan of infographics as well – I actually have an entire section on this blog just for them. They’re always so well done and make the stats easier to swallow and remember.

Thanks for being such a great blogger and contributer.

      Have a great Sunday.
I’m off to reply to your comment on my Bring IT! post :)).

      Cheers

Griddy, thanks for the inclusion. Making it to the Superpost Sunday weekly roundup, on the Nitty Griddy blog :) You just made my day!

As Dino says I appreciate the ridiculous amount that goes into putting a post like this together. Great stuff and amazing resources.
    Have a great week!

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      Hey John,

Why it’s my pleasure. Your articles are always so well written and thought out – it’s always a pleasure and a learning experience to get your take on things.

I was just explaining to Dino below my work process on these roundups. And yes, it does take time to write up but it’s well worth it!

Hope you enjoy the selection this week – some really good reads.

      Enjoy your Sunday.
      Cheers

  • http://diyblogger.net/about Dino Dogan

You know Griddy…I didnt appreciate you before :-) Now that I’ve put one of these “best of the week” lines ups over on Brankica’s blog I have to say wow…I can believe you do this …what..like 2-3 times a week…?

These types of posts take so much time (or is it just me and you have some kinda super magic secret?)

Anyways…thnx for including me and Im off te check out 2 of the links on your list….happy sunday :-)

    • http://nittygriddy.com/ Ingrid Abboud

      LOL Dino 😉

They do indeed take quite a bit of time to compile. I start working on next week’s the minute I press publish on this week’s. It’s on going process but I think it’s better to do it that way. Every time I come across a post I enjoyed or that I think my readers will – I include it. That way – come Saturday night or Sunday morning – all I have left to do is the introduction.

I actually read your over at Brankica’s earlier today – great job Captain Dogan :). I left a comment for you with a small list of things I request on the plane hehe.

Hope you liked the selection this week.
A very happy Sunday to you too.
      All the best
